Looks like several evenings of that feeling you get when you are a kid looking through some forgotten drawer or old shoebox.

Just found this thread. I have been in the process of something similar for quite some time now but with three different collections that might add up to a bit smaller than what you are doing. But I also am crazy enough to put each one under a microscope to look for all the odd varieties also.
I found if I take a roll or two per day, I feel like I am making progress. I don't have a lot of time left for pics to post - this will likely come at the very end. Although I do have a stack of my one friend's Morgans I need to get grading opinions on soon (I hope) so I may be taking posting pics myself sometime in the next couple of weeks.
Its a wonderful problem to have!

Quote:Any chance the Peace dollar is High relief I cant tell? It's a very rare possibility and I am no expert to tell the difference. As far as I know, there is only one known Business Strike 1922 High Relief example. Most were melted by the Mint. There are more proof examples known but, yours doesn't look like a proof.

That is a very nice 1832 Capped Bust Half! That is a perfect example of why you have to go through things and not just dump the lot at spot! This thread will be fun to follow as you make progress.

Went through the walking liberties today and broke them down into decade. A few from the teens and 20's a bit more from the 30's but the vast majority from the 40's. a few really nice pieces but not too many. about 20 with the date gone by the naked eye. Waiting on tubes and the flat clinch stapler. Have to do this alone but thanks for the offer.
