So I recently started looking through coins I had and of them I have these 40 1964 us half dollars, although some of them are mint d and one of those has three faint indentations,I have numerous from the no mint coins that have three indentations on one or both sides, the ones with indentations only on the front have streak marks in the metal on the back.ive heard no mint means it's possibly sms or from p. But I can't find the marks online and I've found one coin graded on ebay as an sms that had 2 indentations on the front, the top 2 rows are d and the rest are no mint, the bottom corner is the clearly identifiable indentations,It also seems to move around the coins locations and they all came from the 2 rollers in the pic.and I'm fairly certain none have the accented hair I've read so much about.

They are hard to see on the reverse but the one I'm posting has streaks and the other has the 3 indents where the date usually is

The "indents" are from other reeded coins hitting the surface of yours.

Commonly called 'bag marks' because the coins get sewn up in bags -- sometimes.

Thanks,I assumed it could be,but being on almost a full roll with a 1965 bank stamp, unfortunately all but about 5 had the marking in either 2 or 3s on both sides and usually only one set of marks per side, would the streaking on the backs also possibly just be wear.they are a higher quality then almost all the other coins in my collections as far as abrasions on the cheeks and edging witch led me to believe that the two rolls have not been used much as pocket change.one coin from the d mint has a crease in the metal and looks highly circulated but doesn't have the indents.
Rest in Peace

Sometimes called railroad tracks especially if those pock marks were a little longer . They are not mint errors , nor made intentionally , just casualty's of mint sewn canvass bags .

Also the ones missing a mint mark, would that imply p mint or sms,I heard that there's a few ways to tell besides the color of the sheen but are there any better or personally trusted ways to check?

The coins with no mintmark are regular Philadelphia Mint issues.

There are 1964 SMS Kennedy halves but they are super rare. I believe only 12 are known to exist. They will exhibit a much sharper strike with better detail than regular business strikes. They also will have more of a satin-like finish and should have a lack of bag marks because of the way they were handled. One marker is a "droplet" hanging from the crossbar of the 4 in the date. 11 of the 12 known exhibit this:
