What information are you looking for more specifically? What part of the country are you in?

The Stella is the king (queen?) of rare US denominations. Fewer than 500 were made in either design, and even the lowest grades will fetch over $30,000 at auction. If you have inherited a genuine Stella, I would expect a paper trail; old auction papers etc. Any serious coin collector would keep them filed away for such a major and important purchase. If this one is not certified, I would assume it to be a replica and work from there. For argument's sake, I hope it's genuine!

FYI, this is by far the most "common" Stella design. This particular coin sold for over $300,000 at auction in August 2016. If your coin looks like this then we should talk! However, odds are you have some sort of replica. Please post pictures so we can give you decent advice.

The letters on yours are much closer in thickness to nss-52's "fake" image than to Jaobler's genuine piece. I vote that yours is also fake, even without having seen the obverse.
