Maybe MS 63 ,..but with worn dies..? or maybe a soft obv strike..?
...need to play with the light "in hand" on this one..

First thought was 55, but I'll go with 58.

wow! such a beautiful coin. tough to state a grade on this one without having it in hand due to the possible weaker strike on the obverse.

It is beautiful for sure, but I'll say AU-58 as well.

I don't necessarily disagree with the cleaning comment as far as this coin goes. But this is where ICCS fails with net grading coins. Let the coin stand on eye appeal with a proper grade and comments as opposed to this nonsense.

That's just shameful, a failure of market grading, technically it's an AU coin. Send it to PCGS, it'll come back AU details but will still fetch a better price than it will in that holder.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning... -from PCGS website

Quote: That's just shameful, I totally agree...but I'm also wondering if he also asked you if it was for sale after placing his grade on it..
