Can you load a picture of Abe's eyelid and the RUS of Trust? Even in AU these areas are clearly discernible as doubled. Your photo of the date has thickening but I'm not seeing separation lines at the tops or bottom of the 966.
From what I have seen I don't think you have one, sorry.

I'm seeing a lot of Die Deterioration issue on the dies that struck your coin. There is also a clash present. The rest is too minor to be anything collectable. You are looking hard to find something that isn't there. Keep looking. The next coin may be a better one. Thing to look for are enlargement of devices. The devices on your coin is normal in size. I focused on the obverse not the reverse, kneejerk on my part. Sorry the reverse displays Strike Doubling only, the pickup point on the 1966DDR F'S-801 is United (fairly strong) and moderate doubling on remainder. I have 27 examples displaying the die gouge in between the colums similar to your example, all were found in a bank roll that had high sulfur damage from decades in paper. The 1966 DDR is definitely worth extra effort with a known population of 4. What a trophy one in hand one would be. The last one I saw at auction went for $3,250.00 and that was a steal. The 66 DDO's are no slouch either in mint state. Keep searching their out there. |

I don't see the 1966 1c DDR FS-801 listed in my book. It is not on the PCGS site either. So I will have to keep looking for this die. |

The more you try, the better you get. Have you ever try something new and it worked or it didn't? That is how you get the better images. You keep trying this or that until you see progress. Then keep what works, forget what doesn't.

Looks like you have an issue with too much light. If you are using a diffuser, you might try doubling the material to reduce glare and too much light. Depending on your light source.
The coin looks like a normal coin with some damage on the date.

Getting there. (color missing) But it looks like the dies were very worn when your coin was struck. If this were a doubled die, the areas in question would be raised equal to the normal devices, but showing a spread. You coin is showing die wear towards the rim (in the rim area) and the lines below the motto devices, may have been polished a bit into the devices cavity. This would leave a slight rise, next to the devices like I see on your coin. (heavy isolated die polishing) They may have been trying to cover an event that happened to this die.
