I discovered this coin in a bag of assorted world coins. The dates were mostly early 1900's but this one caught my eye. It looks and feels like real silver. It is none magnetic and has the distinctive silver pinging sound when its dropped. I'm wondering if the coin could really be from 1755, or is it some sort of commemorative coin. Any insight is appreciated.

The diameter (in millimeters) and weight in grams will help.

The design is that of a Russian rouble as said above, but it appears to be a modern fake consistent with the stuff coming out of Eastern Europe.
Rest in Peace

It weighs 26.2g. I don't have a way of accurately measuring the diameter. If it is a counterfeit it is nicely done. It has a worn appearance that is just right. I

Weight isn't too far off, but I agree that it is probably counterfeit. Counterfeiters usually make their coins look worn, but they also make sure that all details are present to not hurt their bottom line too much. On a genuine coin with this level of wear, I would expect for some of the lettering or the wing feathers to be worn flat, but they aren't.

It's clearly wrong. This particular type of coin was not struck in a collar so it would not have looked perfectly round.

Again just because it's not magnetic does not mean that it's silver. It could be struck in nickel copper.

looks like a numismatic fraud, produced recently for the growing internet coin collectors market
