Happy Thanksgiving! How would you grade this 1910-S LWC?

Another yummy! MS65RD, be a 66 if it didn't have blemish above LIBERTY. Looks like dies are aging, LDS on both, wasn't a weak strike, rims too defined.

Looks very nice and MS65RD in the images. My concern would be a TPG hitting it for for a possible cleaning. It's a $500 coin in 65RD so the potential is there for a high value piece.

When judging surface originality the fields are the best part of the coin to examine when you only have photos to go by.
Tilting the coin in the light is the best test, but we only have photos to use. In this instance the luster is superb and rolling without a single instance of a break or significant color change.
So I'm betting this is a true original full red that's never been dipped. Technical grade 65+.
Absolutely lovely example that I really like. Congratulations.

UNC details, obverse looks cleaned from the picture, but could be the lighting.

10 S UNC's have a flat/orange color naturally.
Tough to call by the picture. Would still be TOUGH to grade in hand as well.
I like at 65. Later die state for the obverse die and a couple ticks on the reverse.

Quote: 10 S UNC's have a flat/orange color naturally. Yep, exactly what I was thinking. It looks a bit "brassy/shiny" which is how early S-mint Lincolns often appear. Judging from the rest of this set it's probably fine. Exactly far better than Fine.

Pretty coin, Salsa. I agree, you're putting together an enviable set!

I was distracted by the K9 obverse field mark, but it doesn't bother me on review - I'll up my grade to solid 65, but still think it looks RB.

I have to admit the obverse color does look like a mild cleaning, regardless, has nice eye appeal . 64RD .

Dipped old school, nice job though probably just once. It grades as DIPPED. Used to be the Doc would just dip them and leave them blazing. Now the coins have been dipped multiple times. They get that flat haze look. Yours has the start of that flat haze look.

The surfaces are a 64 all day long, but I agree with IGE, as usual.
