1972 D LMC With No FG

While searching a roll of 72D's this afternoon I came across this 1972D with no FG. I could not find any trace of it being there. I looked at it from several angles and different lighting.

Thank you! I went through the roll a second time last night and found another "no FG" and four die clashes where you can see the T from Liberty in the first bay of the memorial, and the Y in the second bay. After I have my morning coffee I'll try to get some pics of the clashes and start a new thread.

Some grading companies used to grade/slab the 1969-D. Then they stopped. The realized they were not all from the same dies. They had a number for them and all that, but they are just an over polished die.
1972-D-LMC-With-No-FG
The first batch a collector sent in, they slabbed them. The second batch they quit doing it.
If anyone else want to see more image of this I can post the rest of the reverse devices. But they are just an over polished die example. To me they are no premium. (but that is just me. I like die varieties and early die state coins.
