My son and I put a buck in a claw machine at a gas station and snagged both of these with a single try. Nothing stellar but it's always fun to "win" currency. Hah! *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***Edited by ElonU 11/26/2017 08:47 am

Well I have never seen a claw machine with coin and currency in it. That is a pretty good idea. Great wins for you and your son :)

Well, it was nice to win something after driving hours to see my school go down in a heartbreaking 1 point loss in the FCS football playoffs.

Moxking, unfortunately these were the only 2 pieces of currency in the machine....otherwise I would still be there! :)

Some of them have to be set so that you can keep trying untill you get something. Of course in those machines the low value items are the easiest to get and the better ones are much harder.

By me they only have stuffed animals. And are they hard to get. My grand daughter got two of them the same day though.

Sometime around 2008, I was at a bowling alley for a dentist's "party" that they had going. I remember there was (and still is, but the prize is long gone) a claw machine with a rotating center disc that had a 1942 merc in a square box on it among others, a cheap pocket watch, some buff's, etc.
I see them from time to time in machines. You never know.
