Looks genuine to me. I have seen these things poorly struck like yours happens to be.

Others may have a different opinion.

These are notoriously weakly struck. I have yet to see a contemporary circulating counterfeit of the period or a Modern Chinese forgery of this type.

No concerns here in my opinion. My new upcoming book via Amazon Books "Forgotten Coins" will address alot of Spanish American counterfeits. No worries.

The coin shows signs of being a severe strike double perhaps a coin struck twice. I agree the coin is possibly genuine, but I do not agree that there are no forgeries of the coin in the market.

During my tenure at ebay there were a couple that were terminated as "counterfeit". These are older numismatic forgeries made 40 years ago as souvenirs and sold in Mexico City street markets. I was aware of the forgeries when I studied authentication with a dealer in Boston. The forgeries I have seen can be passed off as genuine, but only if you miss typical clues. So do not let down your guard on the series. The standards for genuine coins were lax, so forgery is easier to accomplish than in most cases where there was a stable government.

The density should be well above coin silver (10.3) because a raw refined gold silver alloy was used. The standard was 595 fine gold alloyed with silver (SG 14.2). I would absolutely suggest that SG be determined here to show a reasonable SG. The alloy is NOT fixed so XRF may not yield positive results. The presence of certain heavy metals (rare earths not found in Mexico)could ID some more recent forgeries.
