Did a hunt in Virginia this weekend and pulled this sweet 1833 dime from the ground. Looks to be an XF + to me, I was real happy to have dug it regardless of condition. I have some in the clod pictures and when I broke it open but the file size is too big on those and I can't figure out how to reduce them on the phone. I'll add them to this post later in the week though.

Nice recovery, and obviously handled properly once excavated. I watch these clowns on youtube with their "regulation 80 grit electrician's gloves" and it makes me sick.

Nice coin. I've only dug one capped bust ... and it was so deplorable ... stuck to concrete, corroded and worn out. I sent it to the refinery it was so bad.
