Hello Everyone!! So I just wanted to say Hi real quick as I signed up to this site a couple weeks back but this is the first time posting and getting into the "meat" of the forums. Quick little background, I am a mom of three boys, I currently stay at home and about to embark on my journey back to school. I really haven't done much in the way of collecting coins except when I run across a Wheat penny or something of that nature. When I was little my Grandmother used to buy special coins and notes for me, but I was probably about 10 and had NO IDEA what I actually had and spent them (including silver certificates! ) Stupid!! Anyways, I decided one day about a month ago to go through what me and my hubby had stashed away and found out about coin roll hunting. I decided to go to the bank and grab a couple rolls of nickels and pennies and I found a 1937 buffalo. Hook, line and sinker. LOL! _end story I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and I look forward to learning more as I go along! Amy Edited by freeqgirl 12/18/2017 11:10 am

Coin roll hunting is the cheapest way to collect coins, aside from metal detecting.

I love getting coin rolls. You just never know! :) WE also bought a metal detector for my oldest boy. He is so excited for spring time!
