Normally I report from the show, but it was too busy to do so. I've never done a December show so close to Christmas before and the buying pattern shift was a surprise. The only numismatic item I sold was a $4
Roosevelt dime. The public was out in full force buying stocking stuffers. I sold out of 3 tubes of
ASE, only one of which I sold as a complete tube and could have sold more. Sold some gold, 1 oz and 1/10 oz, as well as silver bars, and several thousand dollars worth of Kookaburas, Sharks, Barracudas, Star Wars, Disney, Pandas, Thors and Spiderman 1 oz silver bullion coins. $25-$30 items were the sweet spot for the day. Proof sets and Proof
ASE were also selling as was Christmas themed silver, none of which I'd ever bought. I'll wait until next summer and see if I can buy it all at spot. In the Midwest, we are done for the year and FUN is coming up early next year. Happy Holidays all!
