LDLL. Can't give a grade opinion without seeing the obverse.

The Small/Large distinctions are easy once you learn them (images courtesy of Heritage Auctions). On the "Small" features, the upper and lower curves of the 9 are almost even on the left, and the 9 looks nicely proportional. The ball on the lower loop of the 9 is rounded at the top. The leaves do not come close to touching either the inside beads or outside denticles: On the "Large" features, the upper loop of the 9 is distinctly larger than the lower curve, extending farther to the left and seeming out of proportion to it. The ball on the lower loop of the 9 is flattened at the top. The leaves outside the vine touch the denticles in many cases, and those inside the vine are very nearly touching the beads:

On the large leaves, the leaves at 5, 6, & 8:00 touch (or almost touch) the beads. On the smalls, the leaves are well away from the beads.
And, if it is a "small leaves", then IT HAS TO BE a small date. There is NO "small leaves, large date".
