I was looking at some pictures of same year coins, and mine looks kind of different. I imagine that there could be many varieties, can anybody confirm if this seems right to you.

Contemporary counterfeit - one of many different varieties observed that masquerade as 1842 Zacatecas emissions.

Thank you realeswatcher. I bought this, and took pictures of it. When I was reviewing the pictures I noticed it looked "off". I made this post before I got home. When I did get home, I weighed it and 23.5 grams. I knew it was bad then.
I was going to bring it back to the store where I bought it. Later that evening a fellow collector saw it, and was interested in it as a CC. I told him he could take it for the $15 I was supposed to get back from the store and he did. Case closed.
