1963 LMC with a very faint, detailed counter stamp. Looks to be possibly an Eagle of some sort. Possibly military? I don't know. Anyone have any ideas? There are also the numbers 45 under the left wing and 2 under the right. After uploading the pictures and zooming in I think there are letters in the eagle. ISE maybe? Edit: LSEI maybe. Don't know.

Nice ones, chafemasterj! What a shame that Coretta was misspelled on that placard. Or maybe not.

Y & T in a clover (edit: In a circle) counter stamp on an 1892 IHC... Either a couple's initials or a company logo lost to time. I looked and looked and couldn't find anything.

Set of 50 States counter stamped LMCs... Edit: Looking at my three rows of cents after editing the photo I realized that there was a missing state. Contacted the ebay seller and he's looking for it. Of all the states to be missing it's Montana. That makes two sets that I've had come my way over the years that are missing Montana. What are the odds?

Chafemasterj, in reference to your Y & T c/s Indian Head cent: Please see these two listings on tokencatalog.com. Yale and Towne's logo was Y & T inside a clover. THE YALE & TOWNE MFG. COMPANY / TRADE / Y & T / MARK / STAMFORD, CONN. https://tokencatalog.com/token_reco...rd_offset=11You may want to add your picture to this listing: TC-420154; Fuld NC-CT-A Counter-Stamp; Twice on a 1864 Indian cent, reverse. Was listed as NC-35a in second edition, Fuld. Third edition has the company formed in 1868. Brunk Y-1

Thanks for the info Hondo. Those sure seem to be the same logo. I joined the site and I think I will try to post the images of it. I saw the page you have to fill out to do so and realized that I'll need more time than I had at the moment. Thanks again for taking the time to do some research on it. I absolutely love when a counter stamp is found to have some history to it.

My pleasure, chafemasterj. So many people on the CCF have helped me, and it's nice to be able to do the same for others.
