Thanks for the advice Moxking. I worded my original post poorly. I meant to say that I wanted to get half of the Peace dollars in MS65 or better (for some of the more common dates/mm), not in "MS65+", I'm also planning on obtaining lower graded examples of the pricey ones. I am planning on only buying TPG coins, and my thought was that I'd start with the lower priced ones and work my way up to the coins that go for about $1000 by year's end. I was going to be patient and picky, and hopefully get quality examples for a reasonable price. We'll see how it goes.

Dear Santa- Well, you already know. Just some additional information. They have to be at least MS61 or better, like the least of the album and then the set will be complete. I sent you the same picture last year. It must have gotten lost in the mail. You have a few hours left. I understand, you're very busy tonight. If you can't make it, I can wait til next year.

My goal for 2018 is to get the Canadian coins of the Large Bust 1973 quarter, and the 1999 Nunavut Toonie Mule.

A couple of "holes" need to be filled in my 7070...upgrades are always a possibility too!

One of my goals is to set up at a local coin show and see what it's like from the other side of the table.

I really want to fill those last two holes in the 7070, but I am not going to rush it. I have seven other Dansco holes to fill as well. Of course, I also want to get more Ikes for the slabbed set.

I resolved in the past month or so to capitalize on my knowledge of my hobby to move coin inventory at enough profit that my wife won't skin me alive for buying one of the $500+ coins I *really* want, namely Julius Caesar, Augustus in an XF+ denarius, and/or one of the Roman emperors who ruled for less than six months. To that end, I probably won't be buying much until my current stock is quite lean!
I also want to turn my collections into informative threads here:
- Japanese type set, 1600-2016 - Rome, "One of each Emperor" set - India, patchy type set from 600 BC - Present - Gadhaiya Paisa coins, like my avatar.

Quote: Gadhaiya Paisa coins, like my avatar. That reminded me of another minor goal of mine: obtain a graded/authenticated Black Beauty Jefferson nickel. Preferably, it should be 1959 and ANACS.

I started my date/MM set of Canadian Large Cents during the Holidays last year, and am now halfway there. With luck, by this time next year it will be complete. Of course, that's predicated on finding the right 1858 (the stopper), which won't be easy.

Already a minor update. lol
I just come across a Sacagawea Dansco that made it here instead of storage. Guess I should fill it up....

Just another guy with a few nagging 7070 holes to fill. Three in the basic album; four for the gold page. Plus the inevitable upgrades. This past year my 'other' collectibles hobby has sucked up most of the available discretionary funds.
