Do you see some error with this Quarter? If so, describe it and its location on the coin.

Sorry, your coin does not have doubling. It does have post-mint damage ( PMD). What you see on LIBERTY is a flattening of the letters, possibly from a wrapping machine or coin counter/mechanical sorter.

The wrapping machine would have made marks incuse closer to the center on the coin. Coin counters and vending machines could be more way these could be damaged. But that is not the cause either. Note only certain devices are affected. I feel this is a partial filling of grease issue. The die may have been wiped down with a cloth spreading grease unevenly into the die. The wider devices on some tell me this happened, also the devices edges don't show metal disturbance that would make it look as metal contact should show. So that tells it is a Struck Through Grease issue.

Sorry, but it is just damage from spinning around and around inside vending machines.
