*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. Titles are Important! ***

I don't know if maybe someone was picking at this or what but it's interesting lamination all over the obverse

Well you have the flakes and a chip, add a little bit of grease and you'd have a meal!

You should include the date, mintmark, and the denomination in your titles.

Why Topic Titles are Important

The title of your topic is very important. Let's say you need help attributing an 1896 Morgan Dollar....

  • Horrendous: Help!

  • Bad: Need help with coin

  • Better: Need help with Morgan Dollar

  • Good: Need help with 1896 Morgan Dollar

  • Awesome: Need help with VAM on 1896 Morgan Dollar

This enables the members with expertise pertaining to your question to easily find and answer your question. The title of the topic also becomes the title of the topic's web page, which enables us to attract more collectors to the site. The more members we have, the more we learn.

That's an excellent example!

Nice die chip in the first 9, too.

Pretty cool find!

I have one from the 1930's that is scattered about like that. They almost appear damaged at first glance.

Interesting indeed. Thinking handling and or climate change my further development. May try keeping pieces together in a coin flip or capsule should they separate further. Thanks, Doug.

Very good find! That's one heck of a Lamination! Also the 9 in 1959 is filled. Make sure to label on the coin flip that the 9 is filled (Die Chip).
