K so I bought a used car and found some coins and a couple bills in it. Also my grandma passed and left me a coin which I believe is a token. Some of the coins I found say Philippines and a couple others I believe to be from thailand. There is also an expired leduc 2 dollar coin still in pkg and a 1978 canadian silver dollar. One bill is a 5 euro and the other a Canadian 2 dollar bill. I'm going to keep the 2 dollar bill lol and the silver dollar but if there is someone on here who is an avid collector that would be actually happy to add these other coins to their collections I am willing to send them to you for free as long as you pay the shipping :) that includes the 5 euro too. The token I think I need to keep too since it was my grandmas. That being said I believe there is 4 or 5 coin s plus the bill being offered to join your collection for free but only if you will gain personal joy from it. Hi my name is Stacey:) more then happy to send pics but may have to be through email as it's not letting me do so on here. Happy New year!

to the Forum. Just take things one step at a time. It took me a while to figure out how to post images. (Computer illiterate) The tutorial gives good information. Good Luck! Go Edmonton Oilers

Stacey: to the CCF ! Nice to have some collectors here in the CCF, that a are of the fairer type. I got my mother and sister into coin collecting. The collections of both became very valuable, which included quite a few gold coins. My sister's collection is still growing, but my mother's collection was split between my sister and myself, after she died.

Always nice to have another Canadian join the forum. If you have any questions about coins, bills or tokens there are experts in all fields that can help. I assume you know that 1978 Silver Dollar was issued to commemorate the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton. It will make a nice keepsake.

Here are two other useful ways in which Google can help you:
PCGS photograde (collectors of U.S. coins, but will give you grading skills to transfer to coins of other countries) and NGC World coin values (for collectors of and valuation of World coins).
