This coin weighs 15.91 grams and is 21 mm in diameter. It's about 7 mm thick. It looks like a copper dam or double paisa, but is a little light (my understanding is that generally both of those weigh about 20 grams). So far I haven't been able to identify it, and could certainly use some help.

Have replaced original blurry photos with clearer scans below.

It would really help if your picture were properly focussed.

@seeker55, those pics are definitely better. Although I can't help you with an attribution, you can find a ten or fifteen excellent threads on CCF started and maintained by @drnsreedhar. I recommend you first read through them as they provide a wealth of info on various segments of Indian numismatics. If you are still stumped, you should post there on his most relevant thread as he frequently updates those threads and can more than likely help you. Use the CCF search function on the top left of your screen with the key words "COINS OF INDIA" (including the quotes) to find them quickly.

My first thought for this one was the princely state of Karauli...

Some of these coins though it is not possible to get much further than "it might be" - especially the coppers of which small runs of semi-official coins were the norm - just have a look here - https://www.zeno.ru/showgallery.php?cat=8677 for a small selection, the comments attached are always interesting.

Thanks for the comments and there are some similarities to the coins pictured on Zeno, but I still haven't got any attribution on this one. Will appreciate any further ideas anyone may have.

I'm finding the "extended search" feature on Zeno very helpful for narrowing down a search by weight. Looking for copper coins in this weight range revealed the following match:
