Quite a difference between the two sides. It definitely has environmental damage. The obverse really hurts the technical grade. I'll throw out vg-8 just because the reverse looks more like an f-12.

I had trouble photographing this coin with my new iPhone macro lens. The seller's photos are actually much more true to the look in hand. I'll have to play around with my lens, but in the meantime, here are the seller's pics:

I found my wife's sewing lights that are small full spectrum florescent lamps work the best for picture taking. Plus a good picture edit program also helps.

After looking more closely I'de agree with VG08 - need more denticle details for a higher grade, But the corrosion is worriesome!

An honest G6 with some porosity on the reverse. Not a bad coin for its grade and age!

Quote: Not always the lens - try different lighting sources. That's exactly right. This new lens attachment allows me to get so close to the coin that I can't use my usual lighting setup. I had to bounce light around just to get the coin out of the shadows.
