Quote: So I am assuming Ike was a Cubs fan? And quite honestly, I don't know how serious you are, if its a joke b/c Ike was not a Cubs fan, or if you know maybe jbuck does not like that team and so are having fun! I have no idea what Eisenhower favored. I said Cubs because jbuck is a fan and you included two of his other favorite things: the Ike dollar and Pepsi. I have never been deeply involved in professional sports. In 2009, midway through the season, I was introduced to listening to baseball on the radio (XM). I actually can't watch a game on TV because it seems boring to me. I will, however, listen to a game on radio (my record is an entire 19-inning game, over 7-1/2 hours). If you try it, it's more exciting that way. That said, I really have no interest in football or basketball. Listening to hockey on the radio was interesting. Keep doing what you do, Earle, you're not missing out on anything.

I am truly awed by the 50,000+ posts he made. First of all, CONGRATS!! and THANK YOU!! When I first joined at beginning of last year, I marveled at members with thousands of posts. I just imagined how much time and dedication it took to get those numbers. Then I saw jbuck's number. Looking forward to 60,000 !

The smile says it all. @Dorado Nice dime! Oh... Seriously, that is a great little piece! I would love something like this, but my hands are large enough my concealed carry has to be rather large to keep it from slipping out of my hand from recoil. Your incredibly cool Beretta would be taking flying lessons if I shot it. @spruett I have enjoyed a total of two baseball games. Both Pirates and both at the stadium - just to experience what it was like. I watched a total of two football games when visiting a friend in Pittsburgh - you can guess which team they were favoring. Even I know who the Pirates are. Come to think of it, baketball grabbed and kept my attention for a short series of games years ago. Since (even) I had heard the names of some of the guys on the original Dream Team, I knew the team had to be a once in history event likely never to be duplicated. I wanted to see how easily their skills would show other country's teams, although practiced, were comparatively amateurs. Obviously I was not disappointed! It raised the bar in a way I am not sure will ever be able to be done again. I don't care what the subject (OK - maybe not opera ), whenever the closest things to perfection is being exhibited, it fascinates me.

Earle wins the internet! Epic photo! I love it, even before the Cubs addendum. Gonna save it, print it, and hang it on the wall.

It's not the size of the gun that matters..... And yes, it is a real gun and shoots real bullets! Tribute to jbuck with the Ike to show size of the 2mm pin fire revolver

Glad you like it jbuck - well worth the time (and of course fun) to create. You have done so much for us here on the forum. I am thrilled you think enough of it to print and hang it. @Dorado That Anaconda might just be large enough . Admittedly I like to try one of the full sized Chiappa Rhinos if they weren't so very expensive. @tootallius - boy did I learn from googling your post - amazing!

It's a rare occurrence to always agree with someone all of the time.
Fortunately, JBuck is not so annoying.
My sincere congratulations. Looking forward to many more of your posts.

If you like history, the 2016 baseball World Series was pretty special for the Chicago Cubs. I am not a Cubs fan, but I really appreciated the victory for what it meant just as I did for the Houston Astros in 2017 (1st World Series title). I'm a Red Sox fan and they had a very similar, but slightly lesser, drought broken in 2004. I can relate. The two ballparks they play in are the two oldest remaining - Fenway opened in 1912 and Wrigley in 1914. Maybe one day the Cubs will be pitted against the Red Sox in the World Series. I have no idea how or why this topic turned to handguns...
