Hello! New user and collector here.  Found this wheatie recently. The 6 in the date looks like some kind of mis-strike. Is this an error? Can anyone help me identify what this is and whether or not it is the least bit valuable. Thanking you in advance for your knowledge and help!

A vending machine or counting machine damaged it. How can you tell? It was mechanical and lt altered the device to be parallel to the rim. Post-Strike-Damaged

@strixmel. first welcome to CCF. Second yes, the others have it right that your coin is just damaged. Wheat cents have a small premium over face value, so it is worth saving.
