It looks like they are commercial properties if I can read the plot correctly. Without some better images, I can't tell. Lovely land around there but very poor. If I had spare cash I'd purchase them just to have land on the Eastern side of the US.

Or, if I turn the plat around, then it is the houses below the dirt road on the hill. The ones covered in vegetation. Whew, a lot of work to get them even close to livable.

It's beautiful country in the heart of West Virginia, near the Kanawah River, but the location is horrible on that main road. Could only work if one was actually planning on living there, otherwise property taxes will bleed you to death. Was probably nice back in the day.

Three parcels of land for $5900? That's about five times the size of my lot and I pay more than that in annual property tax. But that looks like a fixer-upper if I ever saw one (or rather, three of them).

I bet you're also purchasing some delinquent property taxes or getting into some kind of foreclosure nightmare. The county website lists the property as "suspended from sale" on the county sheriff tax office page. Whatever that means, it doesn't give me a warm fuzzy.

Already got me ma lake cabin. Don't need none a that southern or eastern or western sunshine.
Here in Minnesota we know we are gonna see the sun at least 10 days a year.
Property taxes can be paid in gopher tails.
