Jon Brand Pillar of the Community United States 1023 Posts	Posted 01/15/2018 3:16 pm Paid a bit over 400. I like it, I think... but would like your opinions. Excuse the not so great photos. No major spots or scratches on the coin but do you like the look? The cloudy white scuffs are on the plastic. Thanks for your opinions. I'd keep it if you are after one of these. If it was a one-off purchase I would consider flipping for something you like better. Me, I would have to keep it! Jon Brand Pillar of the Community United States 1023 Posts	Posted 01/15/2018 5:09 pm To answer the questions, I was looking for a nice looking regular example to go on display next to my proof coin. It's not a series I have studied though so I am not super familiar with them. I trust my eye for the most part and know what I was looking for. I like the look of this one alot but it's not super lustrous. I think what you see in the photos is a good representation if you picture what you see cartwheeling. It's just not bright. I bought this coin with out having a specific date in mind. Just one that I like to look at. $2.5 Indians are my specialty and I am much more confident in that department. It's also the only series I laid out a huge amount of money for a key date coin. Report this Post to the Staff

Just pretty old coins to enjoy. Terrible photos of my other one but this is what I have. Its clean looking in person compared to photos. If the cac sticker confuses you, its new and not all the images of the coin slab. Also the coin looks a little more hazy in the photos. I think there is no doubt that this proof is nicer then the one I posted about. I am not trying choose between the two, but to have two that look nice next to eachother in my collection. Penny Guy Pillar of the Community United States 531 Posts	Posted 01/15/2018 6:21 pm Nice looking Two Cent. As far as value, I think you bought at a fair price for a well graded coin. I can see why it got a green bean. I have sets of both business and proof strikes and have studied this series for 20 years. It's possible to maybe pay less for a nice looking Two Cent Piece, but your selection as a 65 grade with a CAC sticker seems like a good value. Superior coins are worth more money IMHO.
