@sandie202, first welcome to CCF. Second, there actually is a website devoted to coins with Cuds (not unsurprisingly called "cuds-on-coins". The vast majority of coins listed there are from the US, but do I note that the OUS section has a few Australian coins listed. If you have one or more not listed, you could contact them to see if you can get yours listed. You will need pics though...

I enjoy keeping a lookout for Cuds when noodling and always keep or upgrade them when found but I don't view them as being valuable, particularly with most finds are well circulated ... it's always exciting though to find a 'new' Cud!

A quick look on ebay will give you a good indication of what they are selling for.

I would agree that in Australia the vast majority aren't valuable and are more curiosities, but the $1 rabbit ears seem quite popular.

Rim Cuds are nice error coins to add to a collection. As Mr T said, the $1 rabbit ears are quite well collected.

I have quite a lot of Aussie coins with ' Cuds' but be aware that what we in Oz call Cuds, the US call Die chips.

The bigger the Cud, the more valuable the coin might be.

Rim Cuds are most often on $2 & $1 coins, so if you find them on other denominations, you're pretty lucky.

Do they appear on any other denominations? Maybe I'm wrong but possibly not all blanks are rimmed? I think $1 and $2 blanks are.

hi all I thought I might try coin rolling so I went to my bank and asked for 150.00 in change wow did my thoughts about coin rolling just plummet the teller glared at me them gave the teller next to her a disapproving look and said something I didn't catch then bombed me with a hundred questions some which I thought had nothing to do with swapping money she made me feel as though I was doing something wrong, I got the change and left the bank feeling like crap for the rest of the day When I wanted to cash the money in I went to another bank not a member off and the teller was just wonderful does anyone else have this problem.
