#1 is a souvenir imitation of a Constantius I coin. See here: http://goccf.com/t/149291
...and here:
http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/ric/...ius_I/i.html

#2 is an 1879 Russia 2 kopeks.
#3 is a 1990 Tunisia 1 dinar.
#4 is a 1394 (1974) Morocco 5 santimat/centimes.
#5 is a 1327 (1910-1915) Turkey (Ottoman Empire) 5 para.
#6 is a 1321 (1903) Morocco 10 mazunas.
#7 is a 1377 (1998) Iran 250 rial.
#8 - I've seen similar, but can't remember.
#9 is a 1980 Algeria 5 centimes.
#10 appears to be some sort of Spanish Real, but it looks to be copper. I have no idea beyond that.

I think that's all I can add (hoping everything is correct).

Oh, and...

#8 is identical to a reproduction coin I've had since I was a kid. The coins were given away as free gifts by some British company in the 1960s or 1970s. Even the toning is identical to my coin. The card holder says my coin is a silver dirhem of Haroun al-Raschid, who ruled in present-day Iran in the 8th century AD.

@pcm2007, first welcome to CCF. Second, I'm hoping that you do find some other coins to try to "stump the experts". One request would be to break your threads up into chunks of only a few coins rather than 10. On the other hand, your pics were quite good, which is a huge help!

Let me echo Spence. Welcome and nice pics.
In my opinion, photography skills are an essential part of coin collecting, and one frequently neglected.
CCF has some of the world's best photographers, and they enjoy helping others.
I hope every camera-challenged collector will check out their threads.

@Spence Thank you so much for your suggestions. I've added 3 yet unidentified coins in 2 different posts to follow your advice.

Thanks all for the welcome!

I would question the authenticity of 1 and 2.
They appear to have the graininess of a cast coin, and apparently they are using a movable type for the characters.

1) I'm not sure. Possibly a charm. Experts should be along soon.

@Chute72 The lines that encircle the Chinese symbols seemed to me strange when I took the pics. Thanks for letting me know the counterfeit signs you've found. They probably are. I bought them maybe 10 or more years ago in Plaza Mayor in Madrid (Spain) where every Sunday a flea market takes place for collectors of coins, banknotes and stamps. I was a total noob about coins by then, and still learning. I've read in some blog that many fake coins are sold there, but I did not know by then. I think I was ripped off 14€ for both. Lesson learned. :)
Regarding the brass coin, I've checked the link you provided. Now I have to check which variety/year it is. It will be a hard work if possible at all as the characters seem to be very worn.
Thank you very much!

I agree that the first two of this second batch are almost certainly fakes.
