I was never into collecting coins but I have the fever now.

My Dad passed away and I have his collection
Was hard to look at it after his passing but after 5 years I am looking at coins he left me.

He left me 83 boxes of American Eagle coins he got through mint over the years

Thought they all were same until I started research - Now I know what S -- P and W mean now.

He told me one coin was special and never sell it. He never got it graded but I did :

Morgan silver dollar
Carson City
1890
MS 64
Cameo DMPL
VAM - 3
Repunch Date

Any Idea on what it is worth ?

PCGS is a place to start.

The MS64 price of $1400 represents a retail value. The VAM and DMPL add some premium, but you'd need an expert opinion.

Sorry about your Dad, but that is an amazing collection to inherit. Your Dad was looking out for your future.

Unless you are planning to sell it, what does it matter?
