Gosh, Mike, that toning really makes photo grades awfully difficult. From the head on obverse and center of reverse the strike looks typical, so I do see slight rub.

55, but a tentative 55. This really needs in hand grading.

Toning as well. I love original toning, but I'd consider this toning on the slightly negative side.

xf45. not a lot of luster. very dark obscuring the coin's deign elements.

LOL @Mox! It is nearly impossible to find a nicely toned Trade dollar. I'm at the point where I'm ready to give up. It doesn't help that the design is butt ugly to begin with.

AU-53. Extremely difficult to grade from photos. Will need an in-hand examination to determine an accurate grade.

I think it grades XF-45. This is the type of toning I like but it's hiding a lot of bag marks and scratches. I doubt this is a CAC candidate unless it looks nicer in hand.
