Once the girl @ local coin shop said" holy crap, I think it's real", I took coin to my Deposit Box. I have pictures but I have no idea if anyone is going to read this. I found coin in box with a bunch of 1908s United States of America peso coin? But back to stater so I'll describe both Athena & Nike.
Athena has the Graphon bird thing on helmet. She has 1 earring & 1 strand of pearl necklace (2 possible because of it being hand struck).
Nike is holding a Trident and 1 leg is kicked at 45°. Moreover it seems to have Islamic writing on Nike side along with Roman lettering; but I don't know. Any help?

Well, it sounds to me like you are saying that you found an ancient Greek coin worth thousands of dollars in a roll of US cents, so my initial guess is that you have a fake or tourist copy. However, every once in a while someone reports an amazing find. Maybe you are too.

Good pictures should prove it one way or the other, we hope. We would need something of the edge, the weight and the diameter just to be on the safe side.

Quote: an ancient Greek coin worth thousands of dollars in a roll of US cents Not that it really changes much, but I think OP was saying a bunch of Phillipines/US 1908 pesos. As per the OP, we would love to see what you found. Please do post pics.

It's definitely from my Uncle's WW2 stuff. Also in box was Japanese 50 pesos with what's it worth on it. There pretty beat up. And a bunch of Aluminum money with Japanese on it.

Nike side. It's been hard to figure out posting pictures, but I got it now. So the stater was in a box of Indian Head pennies. I also have other sizes of the silver coins in pic. I kept all the little ones. Still can't find my exact copy of Stater.

@gizmo89, before we can really help you, we need close-up, cropped, well-lit, in-focus pics of both sides of your coin. I understand now that this came in a box of various coins (not a roll of cents), but we just need to be able to see what you are. Thx.
