Crazy Struck Through On 2016-P Cent. It's Not Flat?

I found this one earlier today. It looks like a nice strike through to me. Maybe planchet flaw or damage? The reason that I don't believe it is damage is that there's no raised metal around the affected area. The odd part is this coin isn't flat and doesn't appear to be damaged. The bend is in the same spot as the strike thru. Could this bend have happened at the mint?

Could this happen without raising any of the surrounding metal. I see you explain it that way but that is not the case here. The metal is not there, and hasn't been pushed.

If it was a 90 degree hit and not at an angle. Angling is what causes a pile up.
