Very good pics, although having an overall of the obv and rev also helps. I see several letters where the little post on the die has broken off thus allowing the metal to fill in the center part (e.g. the D mintmark). Also, I think that those vertical striations in the metal that radiate out toward the rim are the result of a very heavy Die Deterioration (VLDS).

It has multiple Die Chips in the letters and very heavy die flow lines, meaning it's in a Very Late Die State. I would still keep it because it is very interesting and a great example of Die Deterioration as well.

It was certainly struck by a very worn die, but that may not explain everything. There is at least heavy wear on some devices. Full coin pics of both sides would be beneficial and appreciated.

I can't get picture uploaded from droid, when I edit it save it dosnt work, ill keep trying, coin looks pretty good for a 82 to the naked eye
