Hello, I'm new here. I have a big coin collection of U.S coins, and related products. I have no idea of the value of any of it. Where do I start? I have a ton of photos of everything, 78 photos in total. Most of the stuff I have is in mint condition, in plastic. I live in Canada, and my City I live in has no real coin collectors, just places that look for old coins with silver in them to melt for the silver value. These coins are very unique, some ancient coins as well. I refuse to give them to someone to melt down for the precise metal value. This is all I know about the coin collection:

An original 1941-1974 Lincoln Penny Album With ALL The "Wheat" Pennies.
This partially completed album has EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE HARD TO FIND "WHEAT" CENTS MINTED FROM 1941-1958!
You will receive ALL 51 Wheat pennies with the "P" "D" and "S" mint marks!!
This includes all 3 of the ONE OF A KIND 1943 "Steel" wartime cents!!
The easy to find 1959 through 1974 "Memorial" pennies have been left blank so you can enjoy finding them yourself.

A One Ounce Solid-Copper Coin
In An Air-Tight Display Container.
The SKYROCKETING VALUE OF PURE COPPER has made it THE NEW SILVER among collectors and investors alike!
This collection contains a STUNNING PURE COPPER COIN that WEIGHS ONE FULL OUNCE! This huge 39mm coin is HAS A BRILLIANT MIRROR FINISH and features the famous St. Guadens design found on the U.S. $20.00 Gold Piece!
This beautiful coin is ENCLOSED IN A TRANSPARENT AIR-TIGHT DISPLAY CAPSULE to preserve its BRILLIANT RED COLOR for years to come!
You can proudly display this beautiful coin as the centerpiece of your own collection!

A Complete 2009 Lincoln Penny Set
Deluxe Display Case Included.
These 4 ONE YEAR ONLY coins were issued by the United States Mint to mark the 100th anniversary of the famous Lincoln Penny and the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln.

They were quickly replaced in 2010 by the new "Shield" penny and COLLECTORS HAVE BEEN GOING WILD for them ever since!
Each coin has its own unique reverse design such as the Presidency, Log Cabin, Professional, and Formative Years.
These Brilliant Uncirculated coins are set in a CUSTOM MADE DISPLAY CASE and will make a VALUABLE ADDITION to your collection!

A Complete First-Edition Collector's Set of 2010 America the Beautiful Quarters!
In an Airtight Display Case
In 2010, the U.S. Mint issued the first 5 Quarters in the new "America The Beautiful" series and collectors everywhere began grabbing them up!
This valuable, first-year-of-issue 5-Coin Set features the Hot Springs National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Yosemite National
Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and Mount Hood National Forest quarters.
These historic U.S. coins come in an airtight 5-coin display case to preserve their brilliant uncirculated condition!

A Bottle of Genuine Shredded U.S. Currency
Each year the U.S. Treasury SHREDS BRAND-NEW CURRENCY when it doesn't meet their stringent requirements for quality or accuracy.
These shredded Federal Reserve Notes may be anything from a $1.00 BILL to a $100.00 BILL! This shredded currency is IMMEDIATELY BOUGHT-UP by ANXIOUSLY AWAITING COLLECTORS!
You have a small glass bottle filled with this RARE MATERIAL!
This bottle of Genuine Shredded Currency will make a very special addition to your own coin and currency collection.

A Collection of Three Vintage Postcards
These relics of a bygone era are becoming INCREASINGLY HARD TO FIND because most of them currently reside in private collections!
These old cards are a REMINDER OF A SIMPLER TIME when people would drop a few lines to their loved ones while they were away on vacation or a business trip.
Random assotment of THREE VINTAGE POSTCARDS in this collection! You can add a little slice of history to your collection with these delightful vintage postcards.

An Old Silver Certificate
These "Silver Certificates" were in use WHEN THE U.S. MONETARY SYSTEM WAS BACKED BY GOLD AND SILVER BULLION!

They were discontinued in 1965 and the REMAINING BILLS WERE EITHER CONFISCATED BY THE GOVERNMENT OR HOARDED BY COLLECTORS FOR FUTURE SALE!

The Silver Certificate in this collection has the authentic "Blue" seal and serial numbers along with the words "ONE DOLLAR IN SILVER PAYABLE TO THE BEARER ON DEMAND".

YOU WILL NEVER GET ONE OF THESE VINTAGE DOLLAR BILLS AT YOUR LOCAL BANK!!

3 Glass Vials of Precious Metal Flakes!

These beautiful vials will make a VERY UNIQUE ADDITION to your collection!

One vial is filled with STUNNING GOLD flakes. Another contains DAZZLING SILVER flakes. The 3rd vial is filled with BRILLIANT RED COPPER flakes.

The Entire Westward Journey Commemorative Collection
In an Special Display Case
These HISTORIC COMMEMORATIVE NICKELS were ISSUED FOR ONE YEAR ONLY and then QUICKLY REPLACED by the current version.

One year only coins are always in high demand among collectors and these LIMITED EDITION NICKELS are NO EXCEPTION!

Each of these four Nickels has a special reverse design to highlight a different aspect of the HISTORIC LEWIS AND CLARK EXPEDITION.

This set includes the 2004 Peace Nickel, 2004 Keelboat Nickel, 2005 Ocean View Nickel and 2005 Bison Nickel!

These awesome coins are in BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED CONDITION and come in a CUSTOM DESIGNED DISPLAY CASE!

A 100+ Year Old Indian cent
A Must for Any Coin Collection
This beautiful coin has an image of the famous Liberty Head wearing an Indian head-dress.

Minted for over 60 years, the popular "Indian Head" Cent is now in scarce supply and found mostly in private collections.

This ALL TIME CLASSIC COIN belongs in your collection!

An Old WW II  Japanese Occupation Bank Note

During the war, the Japanese forces would invade and occupy various Foreign Countries.
They would then ISSUE THEIR OWN PAPER CURRENCY!

After the war ended and the Japanese Forces were driven out of the country, most of the Occupation Bank Notes were either
DESTROYED OR HOARDED BY COLLECTORS.

One of these rare WW II Japanese Occupation Notes is included in this collection.

An Old Chinese Cash Coin
Centuries ago, the Chinese used small crude coins for barter and trade.

These "Cash Coins" bore characters for identification and had a small hole in the center allowing them to be worn around the neck on a string.

The coin included with this collection is from the FAMOUS SONG DYNASTY (960-1127 A.D.) and is OVER 800 YEARS OLD!

You'll really enjoy adding this AWESOME ANCIENT COIN to your collection!

An Antique Postage Stamp
Stamp collecting is a very popular hobby and the really serious collectors have always prized the older, uncancelled stamps in their collection.

The pre-World War 2 era postage stamp in this collection has NEVER BEEN USED and comes in its own special holder.

You'll really enjoy studying the awsome, INTRICATE DETAILS of this BEAUTIFUL OLD STAMP!

A 12-Piece Lot of Old "Wheat" Cents
All Minted Before 1940
Since they were discontinued in 1959, these old wheat pennies have become an all-time favorite collectible coin.

Although they have been heavily collected for over 50 years, rare dates and mint errors are still being found today.

The 12 Old Wheaties in this lot are unsearched and are all the VALUABLE PRE-1940 STRIKES!

These old pennies will make a great addition to any collection!

A Vintage Ration Token From WW II - VERY SCARCE!!

During World War II, basic food items such as meat and butter were rationed by the Federal Government.

All Americans were issued paper ration cards for their initial purchases and this red token was given as change.

Since the war ended, these vintage Ration Tokens have become quite scarce and are prized by serious collectors.

You'll enjoy adding this HISTORIC PIECE OF WW II MEMORABILIA to your own collection!

12 Coins From Around The World!
This interesting lot of world coins has been gathered from ALL OVER THE WORLD!.

World coin colecting is EXTREMELY POPULAR because there are so many different countries and denominations to choose from.

This is an UNSEARCHED COLLECTION of coins that may even contain a KEY DATE or ERROR COIN!!

3 Vintage Stock Certificates
These beautiful certificates are a true collector's item and you will receive 3 different ones in this collection!

These vintage certificates have become a hot commodity with collectors because of the FASCINATING STORIES OF THE COMPANIES THAT ISSUED THEM!

There is a LOT OF HISTORY behind these vintage stock certificates.

You will have fun researching these old companies and the former owners of these stock certificates.

A Vintage 1930's Sales Tax Token
From the mid-1930's through the early 1960s, these tokens were needed to pay PARTIAL CENT SALES TAX.
Over time, INFLATION CAUSED THEM TO BECOME OBSOLETE!
Eventually, MOST OF THEM WERE ROUNDED UP AND DESTROYED BY THE GOVERNMENT!
A FEW OF THESE VINTAGE TOKENS STILL EXIST and you will receive one of them in this collection.

A Silver Wartime Nickel

The wartime nickel is the ONLY U.S. NICKEL EVER MADE OF SILVER ALLOY!!

The U.S Mint only produced this coin from 1942-1945, so it is QUITE RARE!

In the hope of making them easy to sort out and withdraw after the war, the Mint struck all "Wartime Nickels" with a large mint mark appearing above Monticello on the coin's reverse.

Demand for these rare coins by collectors was so great that THEY WERE ACTUALLY COUNTERFEITED AT ONE POINT!!

The SILVER WARTIME NICKEL in this collection IS THE GENUINE ARTICLE and will make a PERFECT ADDITION TO YOUR COLLECTION!

A 100 Year-Old Liberty Head "V" Nickel

The Liberty Head Nickel is often called a "V" nickel because of the large Roman numeral 5 in the center of its reverse side.

This nickel has a very special place in coin history because IT WAS ONCE USED TO COMMIT LEGAL FRAUD!

Not long after the new nickel was minted, CON ARTISTS DISCOVERED THAT EXCEPT FOR ITS COLOR IT WAS NEARLY IDENTICAL TO A FIVE-DOLLAR GOLD PIECE!

Legend has it that a man named Josh Tatum would go into a store, select an item costing five cents or less, and pay for it with a gold-plated "V" Nickel.

THE UNSUSPECTING STORE CLERK WOULD THEN GIVE HIM BACK $4.95 IN CHANGE!!

According to the tale, the law had no recourse against Tatum, as he had tendered the value of his purchase and SIMPLY ACCEPTED THE $4.95 IN CHANGE AS A GIFT!

The Liberty Head Nickel in this collection still bears the distinctive "V" on its reverse side and will make a very interesting addition to your collection.

A Dated Buffalo nickel
The WORLD FAMOUS "BUFFALO" NICKEL was produced from 1913 all the way to 1938 and has been a FAVORITE OF COLLECTORS ever since.
The Buffalo's raised date-placement caused many of them to become unidentifiable after just a few years and therefore of no collectible value.
The Nickel in this collection is a VALUABLE FULL-DATE SPECIMEN and will make a wonderful addition to your coin collection.

to the funny farm, you stack 'em, we crack 'em!

Sounds like you got hold of a bunch of what we call "exonumia", sets of coins put together for the purpose of resale. Nothing wrong in that, gives a lot of background behind the coins. We just slather over pictures. There are junkies here that just can't do without their daily fixes, you must help us keep them well provided with their drug!

Welcome to the learning party! Hope you enjoy the experience!

Drwill, you win the award for the longest introduction ever, congratulations! This one's for you!
