Nice! It's not an area I have gotten into, but I know you are in good company here.

A rather pleasing Roman silver coin. Make sure you keep it for the rest of your life. I now regret selling my first Roman coin, (a Hadrian silver denarius - rev. Annona, with modius & corn ears reverse), bought it for $4 in 1967, and sold it for $60 in 1976. Was in about the same condition as this one.

Wow I have about 6 different Trajans and none of them look like that. Probably rare- Good find( if it is genuine- the seller does sound very reputable and all)

Superb selection. That is indeed an unusually nice portrait, and top it off with a well preserved and fully struck reverse! My first denarius was a super low grade Trajan, which I ended up selling to make more room. I regret that many of my first ancients were coins that I eventually felt it was time to move on from - you are doing it right!

Brilliant coin - love the portrait. I posted yesterday about upgrading my collection, I had full intention of selling my first purchases as they are all low grade.
I think I'm going to keep them all now - great comparison examples for my students.
There's always more room!

travel I would keep em. I pretty much going to keep all of mine- unless I could get top dollar for it.
I have alot of constantines sons( which are very common I wouldnt mind parting with them) Many of them were free gifts with purchases.
