Machine Doubling reduces the size of the devices?
As mentioned already the 1969-S cents had a lot of
Machine Doubling on them. The doubled die also have a lot of
Machine Doubling on them:
The yellow arrows are Machine Doubling. On the coins other areas is the doubled die. So because MD is present on a coin, doesn't mean it is a doubled die. Just MD. MD is flat looking from the machine damaging the devices.
