I had recently sent the image to a reputable auction gallery for an opinion. His response was "I am not a specialist in this particular DDO/RPM but if it were my coin I most certainly would send it PCSG for grading immediately". The opportunity to have the coin presented within their auctions was also also offered. I am just trying to now read up on the process of sending it into PCGS. I had recently become addicted to coin hunting despite my family's jokes. One day, I know deep down that they will be eating crow for years to come! So what you have here is Machine Doubling, since the devices have been reduced in size, and it's shelflike in appearance. jgenest New Member United States 13 Posts	Posted 07/13/2018 4:16 pm I also thought the same initially however each area that appears to be doubled also matches up with authentic DDO online. Would Machine Doubling produce an exact replica? I always thought Machine Doubling was almost a ghost like doubling effect yet this coin has actual ridges where the doubling takes place, as if it were hit twice etc... So you would definitely say that this coin isn't anything special and can go into my purse for spending? Just need to be sure. Thank you Report this Post to the Staff
