2017 P Dimes With Die Damage On Reverse - Common Error

I have found many 2017 P dimes with matching die damage on the base of the torch handle. There are 2 main variants of the error.
This error is fairly common - I usually find 8 - 20 per new roll.
Please note you will need a good magnifying glass to spot these guys.

Yes, I see many of these. Very common IMO. I'm thinking some type of Die Deterioration. Good pictures, nice detail. Show the entire coin Obv. and Rev. the next time you post.

It seems like Philadelphia dimes have had bad runs since 2015. I wonder if 2018's will have errors ?

I've seen this as well. They looked like small die cracks coming off the bottom of the torch to me.

I think the reason why this happens so much is because the bottom of the torch is one of the weak (stress) points on the die so it's more prone to Die Cracks, Die Chips, and Die Breaks.

I an error on my dime as well , the A on the reverse after the C in America is crooked and under the letter C a bit. Anyone else find this one?

That is a coin contact mark on the 'IC' on AMERICA.
