Well, I have the final eight Dansco holes to fill, so those get top priority. Seems like I would be able to shift the target from G-VG-F to F-XF-AU territory.

Next I would have to finish the PCGS Ike set. Of course, I might have to push those grades up a few notches. Maybe build a complimentary NGC Ike set since I have two NGC Ikes already. Registry sets? Sure, why not.

Lastly, in another recent topic I mentioned Capped Bust coinage...

What-Would-You-Do-With-$100k?

That is great Mark! I would sleep on it a few night as well before I completed or ungraded my 7070 w/gold!

Finish/upgrade my current sets-in-progress: Peace dollars, early Franklin proofs, and classic Types. Then most likely switch to classic foreign gold and modern bullion.

As far as it would go I would start the following collections starting with number 1 and working down:
1. BU/AU Buffalo nickel set
2. BU/AU Walking Liberty half dollar set
3. BU set of Franklin halves
4. Start with high grade Barber halves and work back toward Liberty Halves until funds exhausted.

With the prices of the coins I want, 100thousand is far from enough. For example I'd try to buy lots of Mercury dimes with all full bands. That would include the 16D, 42/41, 42D/41, 45, etc. I'd make my own Album for those which would include all the proofs too. Then with the rest of the money, try for more Sitting Liberty Dimes. Need lots of those to fill that Album.

Hummm......

I hope Coinfrog does and we can hang out for a few days.
Sounds like fun!

Well, I like "sets" and I have never started one for
Morgan dollars because I could never finish it.
Or, maybe load up on some nice key date coins.

Let's see here...hmmm...ok here we go:

Do a 7070 Gold Page
1914-D Lincoln in 63/64 RD/RB
Upgrade my 11-S, 12-S, 14-S, 16-S, 18-D, 23-S, 26-S and 27-S and maybe a few other Lincolns after I take a look at those in my 7070
Upgrade my Seated dollar No Motto and Trade dollar in my 7070
1798 Large Cent since I'd like an 18th Century US coin in my collection
What the heck, let's add a 1799 Dollar also
Nice Carson City coin since that's another coin / mint I don't have in my collection
Maybe a few other other 7070 upgrades after I think about it a little more
Save the rest for awhile if there's anything left

I would start out with some high grade copper-nickel Indian Heads.

I like the idea of getting a handful of high-grade 18th century coins.

I'd knock out the big keys I'm missing from my sets in triumphant fashion.

1877 Indian; 1885 & 1886 Liberty nickels; 1896-S, 1901-S, 1913-S Barber quarters; 1916 Standing; 1904-S Barber Half. A couple of the big Morgan keys.
