I'd probably keep it. It's only five dollars so why not? The serial numbers that are over 1000 generally are not worth more than face value. I've seen them for sale, though.... don't know if they sell.
Anyway, it's lower than any serial number I've ever found so I would keep it.

No, not "paying" anywhere near that kind of $'s.
Sellers ask all kinds of crazy prices.
