I'm not a serial number spotter but it would be super cool to someone who's birthday is Dec 14th!
Rest in Peace

I'd probably keep it. It's only five dollars so why not? The serial numbers that are over 1000 generally are not worth more than face value. I've seen them for sale, though.... don't know if they sell.

Anyway, it's lower than any serial number I've ever found so I would keep it.

Hard to say.

I imagine if I found it before the circulation, yes......as is now, maybe not.

Are people really paying $30 to $50 plus for a 000012xx serial number on a Five bill?

No, not "paying" anywhere near that kind of $'s.

Sellers ask all kinds of crazy prices.

I'd probably keep it for a little while but the condition keeps its value to face.

Sure, I'd keep it. At least until I found a better one. Have you branched out into checking $5's now, Topekaguy?
