I tried to find what the holes ask for but can't find it.
I am guessing that two are the early type and two are modern?

Oregon trail, 1982 George Washington, 1995 civil war, 1892 Columbus, two favorites and two firsts.

If it's 2 of each I'd go with these
I like the "Old West"
I admire the struggles of the Great State of Texas
Where would we be without George Washington? The Father of our Country
and The awful Civil War we should never forget

I don't have any commemorative halves, but for the classics I would also go with Oregan Trail and Texas Centennial.

TNG- This is page I'm referring to. The holes are not labeled. I guess they leave them blank for personal preference.

So far, I think we're all pretty much headed in the same direction.

Oh, then replaced Stone Mountain to MS64 to keep all halves as Mint State.

I went with 1892 Columbian as the starter and then California coins - 1925 California Jubilee, 1935 San Diego, and 1936 Bay Bridge. My modern is the 2006 San Francisco Mint.

Coconutjoe- That is some great looking eye appeal right there! ! The Mint State thing is way out of my reach. At this point, I'm just looking for circulated coins that can be identified and within my budget.

From where I sit, I'm thinking a 1926 Oregon Trail and 1925 Stone Mountain are a must have. I do have the first hole filled with a decent 1893 Columbian.

All- Great feedback and suggestions! Thank you! At the moment, I'm leaning away from the modern Commemorative. I do have several in prestige sets but really don't want to break them out.

I'm from Long Island, so I want one of these to fill the last hole.

Columbian Expo, Monroe Doctrine, and a Washington pair (bought from the mint in 1982).

The Monroe is the newest as was shopped into an existing photo, hence the off-look.

In that case, I would pull the modern ones and put in Lincoln and Arkansas. Never did a 7070 album. I have seen some dazzling gem filled ones though. I was quite impressed.
I do have a 95% "loose" US type coin collection. Of course some holes would be empty for me and probably always would be.
