When I had my type set, I had Columbian Exposition and Washington Carver halves for the classics (first and last) and the George Washington (first modern) and Statue of Liberty for the second modern.

I have had Oregon Trail, Texas, Pan Pacific and San Diego Commemoratives in my 7070.

No problem, I'm here for you. . I don't ask for much... I only want half the quality of your collection when I grow-up.

I have three commemoratives in my typeset now: 1892 Colombian, (empty space), 1982 Washington, and 1986 Liberty (clad). I want to get a 1936 Albany sestercentennial half for that last slot, being an upstate New Yorker.

Here are the three hole I'm looking to fill. Like the rest of the album, this page has more character then quality.

There are some that are more attractive in circulated grades that are affordable. They would fit right in there. I think you should look for some attractive coins that grab you at the right price. We all have apparently picked out our favorites but it's your set.

Some attractive circulated coins with close to the same consistency in color/tone/ware, "lack of luster", etc.. Rather then up and down conditions scattered throughout the page. For me, that would seem to give it most eye appeal.

I suppose that means that classics would be the way to go, since they are more likely to have a similar appearance (and be affordable that way) as your Columbian Expo. I really need to start a 7070. Mine would be a budget version.

Once upon a time, in my 7070 I went for the 4 ship theme: Columbian, Huguenot, Pilgrim and Long island. There are others, but these were affordable and evenly matched in VF-XF.

Even though I have some nice ones in prestige sets, I don't want to break them apart. Yes compared to some of the guys here, my set is a budget version as well.
