Been continuing my efforts to find and or upgrade some of my DDO-001 series by going through B/U rolls. Time consuming but it is a proven strategy and I find a lot of other varieties along the way.

Tonight I found two 1983 DDO-001, FS-101 Lincolns in a roll. It was a busted roll where someone seems to have tossed in B/U coins from a couple of partial rolls and even had a few 1982 cents in there both large and small date. So not a straight from the bank kind of thing but pretty decent grade coins. Interestingly, one DDO was a stage B and the other a stage C. Photos are of the stage C which is the better of the two coins and upgrades the one in my collection.

Bats, your killing me you found 2! That's one of my favorite's. Missed out on the F'S-102 on GC Sunday night. I bid 126 max, it went for 140. I did pick up the 83 DDR F'S-102 in AU for 50. I want to study that thing so I am positive on what it looks like. Their hard to find for sale and can't wait to investigate.
Your 83 is a Nice coin man, sell me the other one. Oh did you check your mail?

Hey Cammy, Was busy today and checked the mail when I saw your post. Hmmm, I'd say I got some very good mail today. Thanks! Glad you like the 83, but I knew you would. It was only a matter of time before you piped up here as that's a pretty spiffy coin right in your wheelhouse. I do wish the conditions were switched around and the stage B was the better coin as the obverse on the stage B doesn't have much of any die scratches at all and looks a lot cleaner. The reverse is the same though with a ton of east west die scratches. Would love to score a stage A on this one as the doubling is very crisp at B and should be fantastic at A. Send me an email tomorrow and we can chat more. And I want to see pics of your DDR-002 (you are working on getting better pics these days). I have been hunting one of those for over a year and keep coming up empty.
