Intersting coin. The cuts on the rim are PMD (not a mint error). In addition, it looks to me like there is a die crack which shows up in Lincoln's hair. I'm not sure about the nature of that bump--maybe a blob of metal that has been stuck onto the coin? Hopefully, others will weigh on soon. "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

These coins are known for the abuse of the dies used to strike them. The edge is just damaged, but the hair looks like a mild die chip (interior die break) or a lamination issue.

Unless you find someone on ebay that collects these things and really wants it or it's MS69 or MS70. It's just pretty much a cool find at this point. You could also e-mail the guys on Cuds-on-Coins with a picture and ask them if they think it's a new listing in their opinion. It would also be pretty cool to have it listed on their website. I agree with the die crack on the hair line. I think that lump of metal on the head is a scraped metal result of a hit that lifted and pushed the metal out of place. Note the color difference in the area below the metal chunk!  |

Any damage that distracts reduces the collectable value up to 90%. So basically face value or Wheat cent value. (or copper melt) |

You know Chase007, you are completely right!  I stand corrected.  I completely missed that.  It's post mint damage. I saw that die crack and was immediately thinking a major RIDB. |
