I found this one in a small bag of circulated wheats . It's been on the bucket list for better than 25 years.

very nice coin...

i have a container of probably 400+ 1940's coins...mostly philly minted....that I have not been able to bring myself to examine closely.

you coin (and a few other recently) might motivate me to accept the challange...

Many thanks all ! It was a nice bag of a thousand wheats with this the star of the show. There were also a nice number of class VI DD's , a clip and a first for me . The wheat reverse cup half of a Magicians coin !
John1 , I use Naptha instead of acetone and this one has already had a gentle bath. I like to leave enough crud to truly give an original look.
