I found my old coin collection from when I was a kid and came across these two coins that I need some help identifying. If you have any idea what they are any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

First off, welcome.

The coin on the left is British, and while there's no scale for its size, it looks to me to be a farthing.

I believe the other's Persian. It's dated 1223, which converts to 1808/09.

Your 2nd coin appears to be from Egypt. Mahmoud II (1223-1255H = 1808-1839). See this link:-

Hello and !

The coin on the left can be identified by measurement and weight, although this one is so worn that it will weigh quite a bit less than a new coin:

Penny - 31mm, 9.4 grams
Halfpenny - 25mm, 5.7 grams
Farthing - 20mm, 2.8 grams

I don't know the diameter of the Egyptian coin for comparison, but the wear pattern on the British coin makes it look more like a halfpenny or penny than a farthing.

The coin on the right might be from Turkey. Both Egypt and Turkey coins from this period have the toughra, but the wreath is typical of Turkey.

As mentioned above, it is from the reign of Mahmud II, and from the 26th reignal year, which puts it at around 1833/34.

You can determine the denomination from the comparison to the British coin (it appears to be 1/3 larger in diameter). So if the British coin is a farthing, your coin should have a diameter of about 27 mm, etc. That will help determine its denomination. I think at 27 mm, it would be a 1 piastre coin, but someone with better knowledge of late Ottoman coins can confirm.

The right coin is ottoman.
You can find it under Turkey, as the mintplace is Constantinopel.
