This coin is obviously in dreadful shape. I have it on loan from my LCS, and I am trying to determine if a date is discernible by you guys, because I cannot be sure.

I have the obverse and reverse, plus a close up of where the date would be.

In this condition, can you determine the date and what might be a fair offer to the LCS?

The only reason I would want it is because I do not have this type. In this condition, not much value I presume, but I do want to some up with a number.

Can't help much here. It's an 1803 to 1807 date with reverse stems.

Hard to tell but I'm guessing 1803.

I've just spent 10 minutes lining up pictures of other coins with yours and the best guess I have as of now is either 1803 or 1802.

I wouldn't buy it from the LCS.

It's a waste of time attempting to find a date. The only coins that I would purchase would be ones with clear, readable dates.
