Sqlars New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 03/29/2018 12:50 pm I'm new here, but have learned a small amount about these coins, I'm just eager to learn. the minute,and sheer number of differences are very difficult for me to see without any kind of magnifying glass or microscope, if any or all of you could help identify the die numbers, or varieties of the coins below I would be extremely grateful. Phil310 Pillar of the Community United States 1101 Posts	Posted 03/29/2018 8:59 pm Your first 1859 pictured is a Haxby # PC59-65a5 (Obverse 65a + Reverse P4b). You can see the 3 obverse die cracks that identify it as 65a, and the reverse die crack at leaf 13 that identifies P4b. gidjit is right. There are a lot of pictures. It would help if you number the coins before each pair of photos, like coin #1, coin #2 etc. A lot of your pictures have out of focus areas that make it hard for us to attribute the coins. Have you tried going to Dr. Haxby's website of 1859's to try and attribute them yourself? You will learn a lot in the attempt as you compare your coins to the photos on the website.
