If you want to collect banknotes, they're fine for your collection, and I'm sure someone else would want them. I only really collect notes from countries I've been to while I've been there, and then only ones that are low enough, usually, unless I like them. Report this Post to the Staff
Lm4life New Member United States 9 Posts	Posted 04/01/2018 09:23 am I got these from my father and I know pesos compared to dollars is a stretch but I figured with age and if there gets to be a scarcity of them the value would go up. Even then, generally, it's not worth too much. As to realistic value to them, check ebay. You'll probably find uncirculated notes, which yours clearly aren't, which will mean they will be worth less. According to Wikipedia they are still the current design. The exchange rate is around 23 Lempiras to US$1. As far as value goes, these are low-value circulated notes and would sell for very little in a retail shop. The Honduras note would go in the 'Junk Box' and sell for ten cents or something like that. The Mexican note is worth about $1 or less, and many shops would put it in the Junk Box, too. Report this Post to the Staff
