Hi everyone just wondering if these are at all collectible. I've had these forever and just recently joined the site. Just would like some input and opinions.

Of course they're collectible.

If you want to collect banknotes, they're fine for your collection, and I'm sure someone else would want them.

I only really collect notes from countries I've been to while I've been there, and then only ones that are low enough, usually, unless I like them.

I got these from my father and I know pesos compared to dollars is a stretch but I figured with age and if there gets to be a scarcity of them the value would go up. But I just didn't know if they were worth hanging on to. Thanks for the feedback

World currency generally isn't worth too much unless it's uncirculated. Even then, generally, it's not worth too much.

As to realistic value to them, check ebay. You'll probably find uncirculated notes, which yours clearly aren't, which will mean they will be worth less.

Those red Honduras 1 Lempira notes were in normal circulation when I visited there in 2009. According to Wikipedia they are still the current design. The exchange rate is around 23 Lempiras to US$1.

It's all collectible, do what you enjoy. As far as value goes, these are low-value circulated notes and would sell for very little in a retail shop. The Honduras note would go in the 'Junk Box' and sell for ten cents or something like that. The Mexican note is worth about $1 or less, and many shops would put it in the Junk Box, too.

They are still interesting notes, however.
