sorry if I didn't quote correctly. this forum seems to be running on ancient technology. It's like I'm back in the 90s. apologies for offending anyone, I'm just joking really.

This forum definitely looks like a website from the 90s. Definitely loads really fast in my browser because of that.

I think the best way is to spend them at a store. Coinstar will reject them.

-Go to the mall, drop one on the floor near a bench. Sit on the bench and see if someone finds it.

-Put it in the church collection plate.

-Leave as part of a tip at a restaurant.

If you deposit it at a bank, it may get run through a counting machine and rejected for the bank employee to find.

You can drop them into TIP JARS which are displayed at various stores or venues.

That's a great idea but I'm afraid these days it would have to be at least a quarter or nobody would stoop to pick it up. I see dimes on the ground all the time. Shame really, that they've lost so much value.

If I were to do this, I'd give it at the supermarket on a Saturday. Cashier's are so busy, they'll never notice and they give out tons of change to people.

Some place where young (10 to 15 year old) impressionable kid can find it, not an adult... To spark his or her interest in the hobby.
